Jacinda Ardern and Clarke Gayford reveal baby daughter's name
The former Prime Minister and TV presenter welcomed their first child together in June 2021.
They have now announced that their daughter's name is Neve Te Aroha Ardern Gayford.
In a statement, Ardern said that she and Gayford had chosen the name Neve because it means "snow" in Irish, and they wanted to reflect the fact that their daughter was born in winter.
"Te Aroha" is a Māori word meaning "love", and Ardern said that it was chosen to represent the love that she and Gayford have for their daughter.
Ardern and Gayford have been together since 2013, and they announced their engagement in 2019. They welcomed their first child together in June 2021.
